    SA: All Holden Day 22/01/12

Went along and had a look around All Holden Day at Glenelg today. Weather was nice, and a good turn out of Holdens. Its a free car show, and I dont think there is any judging just a bunch of nice cars The HDT Club of SA had some nice cars displayed. Including VQ SV 5000i # 001. A credit to the owner.

Here are some pics I took

Must have been a bit hot sitting around. I got there about 2 and alot of those cars had already left. How nuts is that white R8, just a casual 635rwkw .

I went around 10:30 to beat the heat. It was warming up when I left. The R8 was impressive, here is a engine pic

Thanks for that. I like that bay, not too flashy just functional and tough (except for the stray plug ).

Being a member of the HDTOC of SA, I'm familiar with several of those cars, including the Statesman 5000i, to which you refer, & which is indeed, immaculate....I was able to source an original brochure for that car, for the owner, who is a very good friend of mine. He has several lovely cars, including a SUPER SUPER immaculate original VN GROUP A.
Looks like the weather was perfect, & that there was a good variety of cars.
    Thanks for the excellent pics.
    Cheers, Pickles.
