    VZ side skirt moulding/rubber

    Hi there

My drivers side rubber moulding that runs just below the door sill from the inside of the lower front mudguard to the back one is damaged probably where boots contact it getting in and out of the car.

Rang the dealer today and sure enough NLA. Part number 90275667. Tried Google, eBay and Gumtree - no luck.

Anyone have any suggestions. How to repair it?

    Cheers

See if a good panel shop can repair it?

I’ll try that and report back if I have any success.

    Hi there
I’ve been fortunate enough to get one s/h of a VY SS in great nick. Can anyone guide me on how to replace it? Or should I bite the bullet and take it to a panel shop. If it’s a real pain I’ll do that.

    Cheers

I just re-read your OP, sorry, I thought you meant the skirt the first time.

The rubber strip should be easy enough to replace, I think there's just clips under/halfway thru it? Pull the old one off and put the new one on, nothing special and not worth taking to a shop to do.

Get a set of new retainers at same time so they work and sit as they should.

They are specific to that strip and some cowl areas with smaller head where standard type doesn't fit. GM #92138359
