    As you know the original plates have been in use for years, there is physically nothing wrong with the old plates, it simply requires you to use silicone on the original ones to keep the plates in place. The plates themselves are pliable and seal to the heads.

    The new plates are exactly the same but now remove the need to use any silicone.

    im going to be cutting in a channel for my LS2 plates to fit in some orings, ive done some port matching with them to suit my new cnc'd heads the material very easy to work with which is good
