    Lloyd's Auctions

Spotted a couple of cars that may be worth a look...currently 11 days left till the hammer falls.

VL Director - Always loved these as a teenager, bodykit really floated my boat back then! Would even love one now. 124k on the clock but not completely original. Currently at $17k. Loads of pics on the link. Complete with Polarizer.

VN Aero - Also loved these as a teenager. Not everyone's taste but still a fairly rare car. 5L 5 speed.
    $8k.

VX GTS - Over 200k on the clock but they had a Racing Green one in similar condition/kms last month that went pretty cheap. $6.5k at the moment.

After watching the 1979 Bathurst Race I thought Peter Brock was a god, and hence starting a life of Brock Commodore ownership. I have to say however, the VL as pictured above was one car I could never get excited over...
Dare I say one of the ugliest cars ever made????

Id love that VN Aero. Always liked those cars. I contemplated buying a V6 version but I would have hated it.

I think the controversy in the looks department is why I like it so much.

A couple more that have either popped up since I first posted or I missed them.
    8 days to go...

    GTO LE
Just under 85k on the clock, looks tidy.
    $32.5k

And a low km VN SS. 5 speed, looks to be in very good nick.
I'd be keen on this if I had room
    $8.3k

I don't like the look of that VL in which I can see many non original bits. VN Aero?..I actually wrote the brochure for it!!..I like the VZ GTO LE & that VN SS looks like a ripper to me.

Not sure exactly how much they went for, last I saw this evening the VL was at $68k, the Aero and VX GTS were just under $20k and the VN SS was at $21k.

There was another VN SS at a dealer in Perth this week, very similar kms and condition asking 30k so maybe that 25-30k mark is right.
