    SportsCat - R Edition

We might need a new area on the forum to discuss post-post-VF.

HSV have announced a limited edition of 100 builds with the SportsCat R.
Black with red accents (ripped off the GT-Rspec anyone?). It does look pretty horn though.

This is more what HSV are about. Limited numbers and a few performance/interior tweaks here and there.
A wider track, unique suspension setup and higher ride height.

It's not my cup of tea, but I like the fact they're moving more toward the 'special cars' side of things again (even if just a Colorado).

    It's shit.
I wish they seriously did not put the hsv name to these monstrosities.
In my eyes ever since I was kid a HSV is a V8.
I see these Colorado's the same way I look at a Manta.

    No, it's not "shit".
HSV have done a top with Colorado,.....with what they have to work with.
Not everyone needs an LSA under the bonnet, but if Holden allowed an ECU upgrade???....C'mon Holden, HSV have done a great job here, but ya need to help ém to allow a bit more grunt.
    Pickles.

Product differentiation is whats lacking. The 4x4 ute market is saturated with numerous well equipped offroad offerings. Personally I cannot see many hitting the back blocks to be thrashed up a hill. But could see a market for a nice sounding performance based ute that has a beastly presence on the road.
