    Tyre pressure monitor fault.

    Hi all.

I tried a search for this, but must have done it wrong because i didnt find much.
After kerbing my left front wheel yesterday, i changed the wheel for the brand new spare in the boot.
While out on a short drive today, a tyre pressure system fault came up on the display.

Is there any connection between the changed tyre and the fault? and if so, what do i do about it.

Theres no sensor in the spare tyre. I think it has to be changed over from damaged tyre.

Even if the spare had a sensor fitted, the system would require a 're-learn' to avoid a TPMS fault.

and how is that done on VF GenF models???

lots of noise on Google about this.. but no actual step by step

I can see all the tyre pressures using the stalk vehicle menu system.. nice
    but a reset???
lots of stuff like press one knob on the key.. then another then try and start the car

Press and hold the button on the end of the stalk to get into the re-learn process.
You'll need a TPMS tool to 'activate' the re-learn process, Gen F doesn't use the deflation method like the E series.
