    Looking for colder IAT’s? we’ve achieved 11c IAT2 on a 41c day and -8c during winter.
    We have proven cabin AC vent temps are better than GM spec, both IAT2's and vent temps are all on video with nothing to hide.

    If the blanket is going to reflect some of the upward heat and push it back down into the engine, wouldn't that cause higher temps inside the motor? (eg. Pistons, oil, etc.)

    I could be wildly wrong but would be interesting to log the temps before and after.

    On the test car we tried this on, we logged oil temp and coolant temp figuring this might rise up, it however remained the same.

    Likely that the heat is dissipating in the same area and just going to the ambient air under the air gap of the charger, or it's losing the temp from other areas of the engine and cooling system.
