    New member first HSV

Hi all, from across the ditch

This is my first HSV and I had two criteria - I had to be able to afford it, and it had to be the one I liked!

I always liked the VX and finding one that was original and well looked after took some time but I think it was worth the wait

So far I have replaced the perished PCV hose and the front left sway bar link (perished bushes). I have three new badges for the boot to replace the sun-damaged ones that currently adorn it, which will be put on the car when I have the boot and spoiler resprayed - new paint and new badges

Nice mate. VX do have a nice stance. I was looking for an SV Racing Green VX R8 but couldn't find one so I settled on a VY R8 instead.
Yours looks to be in great condition

Still love those Coulson seats. Best seat HSV ever had.

Seats in custom Sheepskins on my old VY. That is certainly one tidy VX. Congrats on a good find.

Thanks. I was surprised to get it for the price I did NZ$16k (AU$15k) with 180k on the clock.

3 previous owners, who obviously looked after it (the spare in the boot has never been used it seems - bridgestone rubber with no marks in the boltholes of the rim). I am going to have the boot and spoiler resprayed as the badges have all degraded and need replacing to lift it up again.
