Personally I’d be doing pulley upgrade and more boost, once you get around 30% or more over driven it’s very alive and much more fun.

Going down the step by step path wastes money and also results in you finding by the 3rd tune etc the question of “why didn’t I just do this in one hit”

Thanks. So it only picked up 27rwkw, which may have been possible with just the tune alone?

I'm leaning more towards doing cam injectors and boost at the same time now

Why not stick with the stock camshaft?

NickGTS ran 10.68 on the stock cam

Yip I realise that. Iím not into drag racing and only really use the car once every few weeks for a quick blat around the streets, so for me itís really about the character of the car and the enjoyment of modding it to put a smile on my face

I understand however the ET and MPH are indicative of how much HP is being made and as said previously you can have a cammed sound from the stock cam when you alter the tune to make it sound more lumpy.

This is just 1 example of a ghost cam

When you do a cam swap purely for sound and a 27rwkw gain....(waste of time and money) there is a lot more going on than just putting a cam in you need valve springs, retainers, locks, push rods and usually a trunnion upgrade to account for the higher lift of the new cam and it's more aggressive profile.

So for way way way less money, turn the boost up on the stock cam and have your tuner tune a ghost cam effect into the tune, the tuner can literally give you 3-5 example idle tunes and you pick which one you like best.

This is on a cammed car but you can hear various different idle effects being applied to this car via the tune, same applies to any camshaft stock or aftermarket you can alter the way it sounds.

FII Stage 2 track pack with a chiller, lid spacer and reservoir. Tuned by Motortorque.

    He trapped 10.68 at 131mph
Currently in the warmer weather and slightly heavier Senator he is trapping 10.81 @ 131.5mph
Come denser air in winter time that will get back down in the ET and when he puts better rubber under the car as the tires are 140+ passes old now...he's a tight ass.

Whats an FII stage 2 track pack?

I got your chiller, lid spacer, reservoir, thermal plates plus 20% top pulley, full exhaust and harrop intake.

Do I have less than the track pack?
