VN Group A values on the up.

Just noticed a VN Group A on AMCS for $265K. It has travelled only 179klms!
    Dearest I've seen.

If it's the same car I was going to buy this car about two years ago it was owned by the guy that owns Crinitis restaurants. There where a heap of cars that he sold off at the time there was a Walky that had only 5000km from memory.

All the low volume SV's (inc HDT's) will rise ... and the older they get the closer it will get to that specific models turn ... the VN GPA is now in the time/value window .... other low volume models in good shape are too

It's now getting hard to acquire other good specials
    SV88
    SV89
    SV5000
    VSGTSR

The next block of hard to get collectables are
    VT 10th Senator and Maloo
VT2 GTS - I saw one in NZ recently with 89kms on the odo
    VZ SV6000
    .... and the GTS Coupes

In time to come the whole Coupe range will erupt

And the Coupe4 .... I have no idea where that will be in 6-8 years .. but it will be up there

... and believe it or not the 2008/9 W427 will go way past its values deep into the next decade too ... they are already making solid $130's for examples with less than 20000ks

Most of the list above are low volume (with the exception of Coupes) ....

Supply and demand will set the prices and there were only 300 or so VN GPA's ...

Thoughts on the HRT/HSVDT Edition VZ's?
Apart from being a little bias, I think there's value in being linked with the gun-ho teams of the time, much like the Grp A etc.

Obvious difference is no real performance additives, but at the end of the day, only 50 of each made in the racing colours of the 'era' that we will all start to call 'the good old days.'

Absolutely ridiculous. Great if you have one to sell but its unfortunate they're taken away from the people who like them most.
Thats life i guess but at the same time its crap

AMCS have 3 very nice but ridiculously high priced cars for sale at the moment.
walkinshaws have jumped up in value of late. i wonder how long the holden closing
    hype will last.?
