    What is the paint code on the vehicle compliance plate...
    Previous 2011 MY 12 VE R8 Maloo -Perfect Blue

    As the article suggests that HSV did not paint the car, in my opinion it will devalue the W1 as the paint code will be incorrect.
    Oh, and from the images, I think it's clear why HSV did not offer this colour as an option.

    HSV have never painted vehicles, it was still supplied to them in yellow before they put the LS9 in, so it's highly possible the HSV plate still states XU3 Yella.

    Isn't the owner the same that ordered the Panorama Silver W427? I doubt they're overly concerned with resale but it's still a one off vehicle.

    The two black Toohey's VN Group A's still held their value just fine and they were painted after the fact

    I think it's beautiful if I could have had the opportunity to have it what ever colour I would have picked fantail orange.
