How much typical does a stroker cost?

    Hey Guys,

I know this subject has probably been done to death but after thoughts and experiences here..

Question being, How much typically does a stroker build cost? I have had multiple quotes done from between 12-16k for a boost ready 416 (was advised 416 is better/stronger than 427 for boost applications). Hoping to chuck some cash at the car early next year so just planning.

I understand that the majority of the costing is to remove and strip engine as you can buy the parts for 4/5k but unfortunately my mechanical skills only stretch as far as minor services like oil changes etc.

    Thoughts/Opinions/good experiences/bad experiences appreciated.

Haha I was wondering how long it would take you to reply Mick :P
As you know...I want something a bit different. Yes I could just whack a maggie on and save a whole bunch of money but then I would just be like every other supercharged VE with 400 ish rwkw.

Dry sleeved is much cheaper than wet but you won't get the longevity out of a dry sleeve.
