This can be read so many ways it's the usual wait and see...

"The covers come off and our future will be revealed"

Car cover comes off it's a colorado it is our future.
Car cover comes off it's a colorado and they tell us about whats to come in the future

Basically wait until Thursday either be shocked...but not really too shocked and they say CAMARO!!!
Or be there looking at a colorado and going "but what about the our future will be revealed part???"

Looking for colder IAT's? we have achieved 11c IAT2 on a 41c day and -8c during winter.
We have proven cabin AC vent temps are better than GM spec, both IAT2's and vent temps are all on video with nothing to hide.

    It is a Colorado.. Meh..

If it were this, I'd be a little more enthused.

It should be the "Wildfire" with a TTV6.

Whilst it may not be the direction everyone wants to see HSV take, if they're priced right, they'll sell like hotcakes. At least they're following the market with what they have available, unlike the demise of Holden.

I don't believe any of the news articles about the Colorado whatsoever! Wildfire is a weak and crap name and not something I think HSV or WP would want associated with their Colorado. Nor can I see a TTV6 in the engine bay either when only a stock V6 adorns the engine bays of the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon. I think the name "Avalanche" might make a return

Since Killa Kustoms can do an LS3/LSA transplant I can see WP looking hard at this and going this route as it makes perfect sense to fill the void left by the demise of the Commodore V8 as too the high demand for a V8 performance dual cab ute, since a dual cab 4wd ute (hilux) is the biggest selling vehicle in Australia.
I've heard rumblings that GM USA are testing several Colorado's that have been fitted with LT1 and LT4 engines and will most likely hit the market in the middle to last 1/4 of 2018. Both are mated to the 7 speed manual and 8 speed auto boxes. These will also have permanent 4WD but still have a high/low transfer case so they will be proper 4wd too.

I believe Thursday's announcement will be in relation to HSV/WP future name change in 2018 and possibly the remanufacturing of the Camaro SS for the Australian market.
