Vf gts rear bar question (pic added)

Just want to know if this section of the rear bar (on both sides) is ment to be clipped in under the boot or ment to be loose / flimsy.

The rear bar on the passenger side of my 2013 genf required the clips replaced. I was told it was a known fault on early genf models.

On mine it started to droop below the tail light then it progressed outward towards the blinker. Finally over a short period of time the side panel would drop about 10mm. I could lift it and push it back into position and it would stay in place for a while. Eventually it would not go back into position a5 all. The local Holden dealer fixed it by replacing the clips under the tail light.
