That’s exactly what I don’t want to happen , I’m thinking from that ZL1 conversion kit the R8 and GTS cradle are the same it’s the diff and drive shafts that are different , oh and the hubs are different on the GTS to cater for the bigger rotors

The kit will drop straight in , as said earlier you'll have to take out spare wheel well to get it to fit
Also as Whitelie said take a look at the 9" gforce and 9" diff technic kits

Bushes were about 6 months old from memory. Was warming the tyres for my third pass of the night and it went bang.
Replaced the cradle with a VF one, new axles, new diff housing but kept the gears, new dive shaft, fuel tank, exhaust mid section, heat shields and hand brake cable.
Diff is a bit noisy now so will problem replace the gears, think it's worth getting a trutrac or something similar?

Definitely look in to a Truetrac or Wavetrac.
I have heard the Wavetracs are better but no idea on their power rating

Cradle is different. Hubs are Camaro not Holden/Standard HSV.

Problem solved I sold my series 1 R8 and brought a 2017 LSA R8 which has the bigger diff already now I don’t have to worry about diff and box when doing mods

    hahah - that's gold....
I did something similar - sold my 2015 SV Senator & bought an GTS wholly & solely
for the better diff, brakes etc....
