    Nope, haven’t driven a GenF in auto and (no offence intended) not really interested in doing so. Having owned many performance cars over the years, the only disappointment was an auto. Swore I’d never do it again.

    I understand they are faster and have come along in leaps and bounds but they are just not for me. Even the wife drives a manual SSV at the moment by choice.

    Give a 7 speed DSG car a whirl. You'll change your mind on autos.

    You cant compare that to an auto GTS however - totally different in every way......

    Agreed. I've got both and it's chalk and cheese. I'm just mentioning that autos have come a long long way and the DGS is pretty amazing stuff for sporting driving.
