    My 30yr Senator Build Thread

    Well folks I managed to last longer than I thought,
    I've had my 30yr Senator just a month and clocked 2200kms and I took it to the drags !!!
    Bone stock apart from fitting my drag radials (same as I used on my Gts)
    I did 3 runs and found times all very similar.
    Launch techniques made little to no difference
    1.
    2.
    3.
    So next step is get her on dyno so where I'm at.
    Stage 1:
    Fit pod filter and get tune, then back to strip

    I'll keep updating as I progress on throughout.
    I could just do everything in one hit and go bam mid 10's (be cheaper!!)
    But I'm going to show what works etc and back it up with drags as time slips don't lie.

    What did it run?
    Also, congrats on the new car,(and commiserations for the gts), and that's great that you're going to do the senator in stages so we can all see what improvements individual or combo upgrades make.

    Great work Nick, and I'm sure this thread will be of great value to our forum.

    Well said I'd keep you all posted.
    Today was Stage 1
    First off ran the car up on dyno (couple of back to backs)
    Car made 397rwhp
    Next whilst car still on the dyno I fitted a Harrop Pod Filter and a Forced Induction Interchillers blower lid spacer.
    Car was then ran up and tuned.
    End result was 461rwhp
    Before and after graph below
    Next stop drags maybe on Wed if can get a hall pass!!!!

    For me I know where I want to get to, these are for me the simplest mods to do and for where I am going are required for my end.
    This stage I'm aiming for hi 11's at drags.

    Nice work Nick. Some good gains there from basic mods. A nice increase in area under the torque curve.

    Full exhaust next?

    Good luck with it. I am sure it will be a strong stout streetable package.

    Extra 60-65rwhp will easily get it there from the previous 12.3's
    Over 15% increase is a decent gain for the dollar outlay.
    Out of interest, did you ever run your GTS stock? If so, how did it compare?

    Nice to see you doing it in stages Nick, keen to watch things progress

    I'll have a gander through the x130 time slips!!!!
    Knew I should of put them in date order!!!
    I'll post up a stock Gts run.
    Please note my 12.3 was on drag radials
    And I know my Gts first stock runs were on street tyres
