    squeeky fan belt

    Any one now how to get rid of a sqeeky fan belt

    Change the belt, check the tensioner has got enough spring in it and check the bearings in the pulleys

    ^^ What he said. Squeaky fanbelts usually indicate the belt is stretching and most fixes will only prolong the life a little and you'll get caught out when the belt fails completely.

    Cheack the pulley bearings and tensioners while you're at it and you'll be fine.
