    Everyone loves the Walkinshaw name (including me), but you have to ask yourself if it's worth the money

    I say these kits are a great inclusion for the Genf... certainly it would be a far better upgrade if it met full ADR regulations like some of the new Ford Mustang kits being advertised.

    With the W557 decal on the back. Would not that be a red flag for the HWY Patrol to defect you for non ADR compliance.

    If you have a stock LSA its $8k to get to 507kw then another $6k with lifters for the 557kw package
    If you go straight to 557 kw package its $14,000 with lifters

    GM Motorsports have the 550 package for $6700 drive away

    Disregard the power figure for a minute and compare apples with apples. The equivalent package from GMM is their 610 pack, which is 9k (the 550 doesn't include a cam). It would be comparable to Walky's 557 without lifters (as they're not pulling heads and changing lifters at GMM for that price) for 13k. So you're paying 4k for the "warranty" and Walky name.

    I would rather go with GMM than Walkinshaw - just my personal preference based on what others have told me.

    Then you will laugh at the quote I got the other day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I asked the dealership if they could do my GTSR with tint and W557 package for $130k drive away. They told me not a snowflakes chance in hell and if I wanted my GTSR with the W557 package it would be $140k
    Now my GTSR is about $120k give or take a few "k", and window tint $400. That makes the W557 package $20k
