What bob said. So. Is the fan not working the issue here? Or are you not getting hot/cold air?

Cool. I guess the Blower fan is the next step to test. Then to the HVAC module if the fan is ok. Not looking fwd to removing the glovebox lol

    Have you checked your fuses?
Sounds suss, if your belt came off and destroyed some electrical stuff you might have bigger issues. You should call an auto sparky.

Yeah things first started with the battery dying, and while it was sitting for the new battery, I randomly spotted the missing A/C fan belt, so after I replaced the battery I tried the Aircon and Heater and nothing worked. (Sadly, by this time I couldn't remember the last time the fans worked as I never use it often) So after learning about the harmonic balancer wobble and AC fan belts. I replaced both thinking it would also fix the Fan issue. It did not, so then thought maybe I had blown a fuse while replacing the battery. I only did a visual check by pulling out the fuse and looking for breaks. So I will try with a Mmeter next.
1 Question does the blower fan have a separate fuse to the HVAC unit?

Not sure about the E1, but on the VS, if you turned the fan to the highest setting the current came direct from a relay instead of via the fan speed controller. Might be worth a try.

Have you tried the reset trick for VE? Hold the demist button in for 10 seconds?

It will reset/relearn the vent procedure. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I'll give it a shot if my problem persists - thanks for the tip
