Wow that's a really nice VX you have there. Not that I'm biased or anything...

I would love to hear more about the engine specs. Is that some sort of Edelblock EFI system?

Much to my wife's dismay, my car is always evolving.... I was struggling with high RPM shifts, the T-56 would occasionally pop out of 3rd, and I wanted to upgrade the fuel system to cope with E-85... The next phase of my project began....
    [IMG][/IMG]

As can be seen, a huge amount of work done to the fuel system alone... It runs 3 pumps... In tank pump is a modified Corvette stealth unit, which feeds E-85 to the vapor tank. The return from this tank has a 5psi back pressure valve to maintain positive feed pressure to the Kinsler 300 series Tough pump, which is mechanically driven through a belt drive I custom built for the LS1... The 3rd pump can't be seen, but it is a 044 Bosch which basically just serves as a priming pump for the fuel rails prior to start up...

As for the T-56, well it had to go... Now the topic of transmissions is always a contentious one, each of us have their own viewpoint on what makes for a better gearbox... Me? Well I just wanted 4 speeds, and something that didn't require something short of a hernia to remove for maintenance....!!

One tough as Muncie mated to a Lakewood steel housing along with a Tilton concentric release assembly. I've seen this set-up in stick shift drag cars in the States that are 3000 odd pounds - pulling 10's....!

No point having a super fast shifting transmission if you can't shift it like a boss.. My solution...

Yeah, old school but it works..!!

    As for the Diff...

It just had to be... G-Force kit just more or less fell in... Only one problem - wrong stubs as far as I can make out - no teeth for the ABS.... Forwarded to tech in the U.S.
