Looking for colder IAT's? we have achieved 11c IAT2 on a 41c day and -8c during winter.
We have proven cabin AC vent temps are better than GM spec, both IAT2's and vent temps are all on video with nothing to hide.

Last year we ordered an LSA/LS9 lid spacer for our own car, once we received it we could see how poorly made it was. We simply didn't want to fit it, the O-ring had no chance of sealing and the material was very poor quality. The instructions actually said to silicone the crap out of it.

Over the holidays we have started designing our own spacer which will be of the highest quality and have zero sealing issues (no boost leaks) as we have modeled it actually from the blower casing, lid and intercooler brick.

They will be available in the next few weeks, this will provide colder IAT's, better resolution of the IAT sensor (eg it wont get heat soaked) and those with interchillers also fitted should see the entire lid getting very cold.

(This is what the very poorly made LSA/LS9 lid spacer looked like)

As the lid spacer is 80% finished I wont know until we finish it, it's going to certainly be a case of selling a lot of these to get money back on the initial investment to get to this stage. You guys just see a plate as the finished product but there is far more to get it to that stage.

And as you can see it has paid off the plates are absolutely perfect.

Yes package deals with chillers etc are certainly possible.

Several things, it will give you colder intake temps as the intercooler brick will be spaced off the charger.
It will give you more plenum volume, should give you better resolution on the IAT sensor, if you are fitted with an interchiller your entire lid will get very cold and that will also further reduce intake temps as 1 the brick is going to get colder being isolated from the blower and 2 the actual metal lid will be freezing cold and then have to absorb some of the hot air temperature when you go WOT.

This will be 100% plug and play, even the o-ring we have had that custom made for it and it is a high temp o-ring resistant to methanol.
Longer bolts will also be provided and there will be ZERO silicone involved unlike the other one posted above which is very poorly made, do it once do it right, this plate is the Rolls Royce of spacer plates.

Any downside to fitting one of these? IE why don't they come factory spaced out?

Your car is designed to make 585HP they don't try to improve efficiency when they already meet their target.
The question is the same as why don't they tune it better, put a better air filter and intercooler pump on it.
