hsv bimodal intake is a joke

I took my airbox out the other day to see if there was anything I could do to give it more intake/supercharger sound without changing the entire airbox setup (not ready for boost up and tune yet). The main intake area is big and looks like it would work well, the bimodal part however is tiny and I struggled to see how it would make a) more power, and b) more sound. So, I removed the bimodal flap and went for a drive. Definitely no more noise under any throttle and RPM...

Why did HSV bother? Just something "cool" to put on the spec sheet?

I have a pod set up and 18% overdrive and still can hardly hear the charger. They are a quiet unit.

Did it make an improvement to the sound though?

Which pod because you can certainly hear the Harrop pod

Looking for colder IAT's? we have achieved 11c IAT2 on a 41c day and -8c during winter.
We have proven cabin AC vent temps are better than GM spec, both IAT2's and vent temps are all on video with nothing to hide.
