    2017 clubsport R8 410kw tourer

    Hi All,

Bardz here, Iv still been lurking around the place. Have recently purchased the MY 2017 Colorado Z71.
But am still very interested in the 410kW r8 tourer.
So thought I would start this thread to share any news that comes to hand.
    Cheers.

.. you know something we don't?
    (isn't the current R8 Tourer already 400 or 410kw?)

Listed as 400kw but seems they are identical to the 430kw GTS

I think the last run of no frills LSA's are going to be 410-415kw

Bet they will be changing the number on the boot and nothing else...

There is no way in hell that bimodal intake adds 30kw to the GTS over the R8

Exactly. They'll make the same power as they do now. Perhaps sold with a "revised tune"for marketing when nothing actually changes.

I put a deposit on a MY17 Tourer back in September. Only thing the dealer could tell me was I wouldn't see it before the end of March and it would take another few days after it's here to have the W507 fitted.
Never even seen a Gen F or F2 Tourer but understand it's same as R8 saloon apart from audio.

The f2 has the same side skirt as the sedans but someone at hsv thought it would be a good idea to stop the skirt at the rear wheels unlike the sedan that Goa the whole way around the cars

Word is it will be based on the current Gen f2 tourer.
Changes will be a extra 10kW of power, bigger brakes, a different side skirt (imo one that goes the whole way around the rear of car) unlike current version and unique wheels and I would say no chrome in sight!
Also only 50 to be made and of course only in auto.

one would hope it's based on the Gen F2

i dont reckon you'll be getting a new rear bumper either, it's the same as what was offered on the VE from 2008... can't see them going to the effort now for a handful of cars. they already have blacked out features as well, so really it will be the same car as currently offered, maybe with a new badge and different wheels.
