treated the old girl to a full detail inside and out.
the interior has come up great, what i thought was patches in the leather was presumably a mix of different products causing glossy and matte areas. its all now a nice satin sheen.

the outside unfortunately had a bad wheel alignment, which should be rectified this week. they tried to blame the bags and wide wheels, but it never used to rub before the alignment (and it's rubbing on the FRONT of the rear guard, not the top/bumper bracket like most people have), and i also run the car higher than most commodores i see simply because the twin 3" seems to touch everything.

took it out for a little show and shine on sunday as well.

    thanks mate.

still needs more work to bring it up to my standard... but it scrubs up alright for photos!

over the xmas break i'm going to revamp with the airbag system... looks like it was wired up by stevie wonder.

i'll strip it all out and also relocate the tank, compressors and valves which are sitting in the boot against the rear seats to a more user friendly location, as well as install provisions for the height sensors and handbrake switch required to make it legal.

$600 later and i have a nice little box of goodies from HSV.

MRC blanking plate, drivers side seat trim, senator bootlid badge, SV08 bootlid badge, and the bumper support foam.
i hate to imagine what this stuff will be worth in years to come.

My what a difference it makes.

Almost makes it worth the $170 odd dollars it cost for some foam with HSV stamped on it and 3 sheets of A4 paper for instructions...

You would think they would sell it at cost price at least. Making money off their poor design

Wow!! Can't believe the difference. I thought mine looked ok, but compared to that, it's so gappy, it's positively redneck!
