back when i was n/a i lost about 30rkw on the dyno with the bad fuel so a boosted engine could loose a bit and with the low timing also, with 12psi u should be in the 400's with the LS3

Yeah in the 400's is what I was expecting , was really shocked when I got told it only made the
346rwkw ... so from now on I will stick to the one service station and fingers crossed
Fresh fuel fixes the problem on Tuesday when they retune it

I have 403rwkw @ 8psi on my LS3 and thats with a 2.3L Heartbeat blower (inc PWR FMIC and larger injectors), OTR and full 3" exhaust. So 350rwkw with a 1.9L blower that runs hot is not all that unrealistic i would have thought? I dont see you getting any more than me unless you add a cam or go e85?

I made over 350 on a baby LS1 and 6psi from a 1900....9 pound got it up over 370. Sure, mine is cammed but the cam isn't suited to boost (throws a fair chunk straight out the exhaust) and it has a massive stall that sucks the power out of it on a dyno.

An LS3 on 12 pound with an exhaust and other supporting mods should easily be over 500rwhp IMO.

Sorry missed the 12 PSI and agree with you

There are cam only jobs floating around Perth with supposedly more power, off 6L's.....

To OP, I saw first hand what bad fuel can do on a dyno. I experienced it myself and my tuner dumped half a bottle of octane booster in, mixed it and then did another run and i gained ~15whp straight up. Will try to find the graph

Haha true that about the cam only combos getting around.
Dyno readings aren't everything but even on a low dyno it should still break 500

Cam only making 350rwkw, what a load of crap. Ive got a big cam , with lots of other goodies in my ute , 306rwkw. A strong 408 stroker with the lot gets you around 350-360.
Always someone dreaming, or the dynos reading 30-40 high

Yeah, its a sad fact about a lot of Perth workshops. 3 hour turn around for a cam install with "custom dyno tune" and it rolls out with 450+rwhp....only to drive like a pig and get blown away at the strip by a bloke running a measly 375rwhp.

Anyone want to predict a time ???
