I didn't think it was a W427, but clearly it was.
They had the car for 18 months before a German tourist came around a blind corner on the wrong side of the road which resulted in the accident. Beautiful car, but tragic that someone died.

Edit: The car I was talking about was a GTS, http://www.opelaus.com/forums/showth...m-E-Series-GTS

Now, back to the 2017 final models..

I'm not a 100% of this but I'm almost certain that there is a smash repairer on Parramatta road near Homebush that has a W427 in the same colour.

There's a Holden Designer that lives in the next street to me & this morning as I was walking back home with my coffee & brainwashing mainstream media newspaper, he was leaving to go to work(his SSV redline is left out on the street).. he noticed me taking an interest, so, he's started it(manual), reversed out & gave it a bootful!....I couldn't believe the sound this thing made from stock... These are just standard LS3's yeah? For a stock car geez they sound good!! I had to spend a few thousand bucks on my LS3 HSV's to get it anywhere near sounding like that & that's stock?!? We've been getting duded for years!!.......oh & talking to him the other day... I think there just MAY be an LSA holden coming too...... but these SSV Redlines are a very good package if I must say so!

Yes, the SSVR's are a very good package especially given the price. I think the limited models, the 'track/Bathurst/whatever they call it' edition will be excellent bang for buck
