Graeme, how does being a HSV dealer work? Is there a sales quota to meet per month, or dollar value of minimum order, distance from each other, certain rules and regulations over Holden for customers?

Has anyone ever had their HSV dealership revoked?

I'm not really clear on the process but it was a way to tidy up the HSV retail approach via dedicated HSV franchises which I'm sure the participating dealers had to comply with .... and some of the criteria wasn't achievable by some dealers

I can't recall any dealers losing their franchise but there were some warnings based around "conduct" rather than actual volume performance

From memory the network was about 60

Wonder why there has never been any stand alone hsv dealers?? Like a mega dealer but better customer service and knowledge

Unfortunately everytime ive looked at a hsv their knowledge was quite poor from the dealer

That argument came up in the Brock/HDT days when it was suggested that there be such a thing, & whilst it might have been ok for that dealership, it never got off the ground because other "normal" HDT (in this case HSV) would see that Dealership being able to achieve a higher profile, which would not be good for them (the "normal" dealers)

Smaller pipes inside the tips I'd imagine but it's not like you can have a full exhaust the shape or size of those tips
