    She had some head light covers fitted in the day and a $hitty alarm and some air horns so there where some extra holes drilled for the fitting of them.

    I got them welded up a long with the rear spoiler legs and a dent on the LH rear quarter.

    The lower stone tray was damaged so we replaced that with a NOS unit.



    We worked on the RHR quarter today and after removing the flair we found a little surprise in the form of some rust, so we remove a larger section which is behind the flair and plated with a new section.








    Here is a photo of the rust repairs on the A pillar that we cut out and plated.

    Another small rust hole behind the LHR quarter flare which will need cutting out and plating.



    They got a bit further with paint stripping of the rear quarters.

    Great thread mate , Im glad you got the old girl , she was looking abit rough, but looks like ending up a beauty!!

    Thanks I am calling her sleeping beauty and she hasn't got that much more sleep to do.

    We got the whole body into primer , the boys finished sanding and repairing the body and wanted to get some high filler on it to sit for a week or so over the Christmas season.

    Here are some photo's of it before paint
