just looked on carsales and there is at least 60 GTSR 's for sale. mostly autos
admittedly but the gouging from dealers is ridiculous. also six w1's as well ranging from
$275k to $320k. now i would love a w1 but not at that price. makes me wonder how long
holden/hsv will let the gouging continue before they start instructing dealers to move the
    stock.

Dealers have paid for them so HSV won't care. It will come down to how long the dealers are willing to let $180,000 sit in the lot or someone is willing to pay what they want.
I think the GTSRs at $200k is the biggest joke

Has anyone really paid more that about $128k for an R?

I think most of us would agree 260 plus, without on roads is where the W1 is ATM.

I decided to do a bit of research on the GTSRs still available for sale - don't take this as 100% accurate but it appears there are 39 Maloos and 116 Sedans still in Dealer stock .... plus 9 W1's .... there are still approx 700 cars to be built by HSV of which it appears only 250 are sold .... personally I feel that the real numbers are slightly higher and I can guarantee all that there will be at least 509 GTSRs still on the market at Xmas .... it reminds me of 2006 all over again when dealers were caught with GTOs for months and ended up burning them .... we must all understand that dealers have their cars on finance "floor plans" that become tough to manage and as Holden dealers struggle into 2018 with massive stockpiles of all models, I feel that January will be a good time to shop ..
