    Rare HSV Models

Hope this hasn't been done to much before

I noticed a question asked elsewhere recently about a Mobil 1 HSV VZ I think it was.
No one new for sure if it was genuine.

It got me thinking to actually make up a topic on rare HSV models over the years

I'm sure I recall in about 1995-1997 2 x Mobil 1 VS HSV Senators that were given away as prizes for purchasing Mobil 1 oil.
I think both were the dark green colour.

Do you have any information on a rare HSV model that most don't know about or has been forgotten about?

Never heard of any of them!!
The only ones of that I heard of were the VSGTS (were they Peter Brock, or Mobil?) cars?.....I think they were red, but I never saw one in the flesh.

That was VR GTS. There was 3. 1 red, 1 blue, 1 white. The dash tag reads Mobil and then a build number.

    SV5000 for Victoria Bitter

HSV VT F1 (tagged QF1P) for the 1998 Australian Grand Prix. It was basically a Clubsport with different trim, Coulson seats and colour coded wheels.

VP GTS Prototype. Looks like an SV5000 with VP lights. Only 180kw. Apparently the owner had HSV put the SV5000 kit on it and use Calais interior.

VR SS by HSV. 1 of 1 in Maranello Red with colour coded VR Senator mags. Full HSV trim. This was a model before the Manta but built for giveaway.

HSV VQ convertable for a motorshow.

Contract build HSV - Walkinshaw that was optioned by a customer with leather, sunroof, Momo wheels, closed in C Pillar.

F20 VL cars (2 production, 2 CC cars)

Contract build HSV - The HSV 8 Plus. 80 made but it was a marketing request by Holden to gauge public opinion for a white SS.
