Ducati ay? Damn. You officially have all the toys. I've got a GT650r. It's all my wife will let me ride considering I've got the GTS!

Nice tip on the oil. I might try that next time.

Sports 1000GT for 'spirited' weekend rides as well as a RC51 Honda (SP2)as a commuter hack. I'm restoring a 1992 Honda RS250 Grand Prix bike at present that is now about 80% complete.

Seems that I keep getting asked of late by people with a know-it-all grin - "Oh you're just getting back into motorcycling eh?"
Whereas my reply is "No I've actually never been without a motorcycle since I was 17 years old"

Yes the in-line 4's are no doubt a bunch of fun. Even though I'm a V twin fan, I'd like to throw a leg over a Hayabusa and wind it out over a long, straight road - I reckon 300kph is within raech on one of them!

I raced a Yamaha GP bike at the last bike races at Bathurst some years back. Managed 177mph (285KPH)down Conrod at a terrifying 12,800rpm in 6th gear, hand on the clutch waiting for it to seize!
Fortunately neither of us had a seizure and finished the race Great times and such a shame a small minority ended an era of bikes at Bathurst! (Although I must say that the track is now so 'car-centric' with armco and car designed run-off areas that it wouldn't be safe or suitable for bikes now)

Sorry for the late reply mate. I'm sure we could work something out. I do shift work and on nights the next couple of weeks but definately up for it.
