It has been announced on the Holden Motorsport website that Skaife is to join 888 for the Enduros, & will partner Craig. Steve Owen will be with Jamie.

Yes it's great news and they will be a crowd favourite for sure.
Not sure wheher the new driver combo rules for the "enduro's" will work though as it will now mean that only the teams with the huge budgets will be able to afford a "gun" co-driver.
For anyone who has not heard, you basically have to stay in your own car for the enduro's. So as an example Rick Kelly cannot be Todd Kelly's co-driver etc etc

Skaife will certainly be competive he proved that with Murph last year.Guess it comes down to how the T8s cars run for the year.HRT cars will be up there and hard to beat but anything could happen.

Well the first round is in 3 weeks i think so fingers crossed we can get hrt, hdt and 888 on the podium all season, give all the ford blokes stick in my family then haha.
I saw this on sports tonight last night but i like the hrt car alot more!

I still cant belive that ford pulled there backing on the most succesful team, who does that! Bloody idiots!

Not that the Whincup/Owen combination is a poor one ;)

Steve Owen would be a main game regular, except that he didn't have the funds to get him a start, which is the sad fact about V8 Supercars and many top level forms of motor sport. :rolleyes:
