To reiterate what I said in the original cruise thread - job well done Chris and it was great to see so many out to enjoy their cars today.

The cruise route was good - there was a fair bit of traffic, but it was to be expected on a day such as this. The legs managed to get stretched out on the way home though.

Oh yeah, there was this one car there.......

Great day, great cruise, great rides and even better people. Absolutely had a ball. Special thanks the HRDHSV and Karstomz (and anyone else that may have put time and effort into the day) for making it happen. It's blokes like you that make others enjoy life just that little bit more. Excellent job.

Thanks to HRDHSV and Karstomz and anyone else who organised it. The cruise was excellent and I am looking forward to the next one. Great route and great people. Great to meet the car enthusiasts and proud HSV owners.
Chris thanks to your girlfriend convincing us on the cruise to join the HSV club! Sending in my application tomorrow.

Cant wait for the next one, massive thank you to the organisers, HRDHSV and Karstoms. You did the best job!!
Macca mentioned in the other thread that there were no pre VTs. Didnt realise at the time but I hope a couple come to the next one.
Next time it would be nice to invole a bit more time, maybe a picnic or something. Happy to sick my hand up to help organise as I dont believe in suggesting and waiting.
Loved the KKs starting spot, my engine hadnt even warmed up by the time I got there:razz:

Thanks to chris, shaneand anyone else involed for organising such a great day! The whole day had a good atmosphere and everyone I had the pleasure of meeting yesterday were fantastic! I will definately be joining the hsv owners club, and im very much looking forward to the next cruise!

Not so fast....managed to somehow change the camera setting to manual, which was set up for long exposures at night. As a result, all the bonnet-up shots look kinda like this one.
Sorry guys. Karstomz, can you wave your magic wand over this sort of fail? Can send originals if needed. There's 6 - 8 of them.
This is why I drive an auto. It'd be raining conrods if the Grange was manual, I swear.

Gday guys, sorry for the delay, I havent been online for ages and yes there is a tonne of photos, I have over 200 shots of the day. Some are pretty bad, but you get that. I did enjoy the day, got a little sunburnt but it was all worth the fun.
Good to see so many HSV's, and the better part was there wasnt the crap you get at other car clubs. No wankers and everyone was pretty friendly. Glad to of met some new faces. Hope the map was easy to follow and to everyones liking, as I was trying to be different to other clubs and cruises in the way the map was presented.
I will have the photos up as soon as I have finished with them, I have to downsize them as they are huge at the moment.

There might be a wait at the moment but I can get them done as soon as I finish all the others :)

Ahhh, alright alright I get your drift.
Leave it with me I will organise something. I am thinking Sunday the 13th Dec. My wife would like to come to this one and she needs to be home by 4pm to get ready for work.
Maybe we will start a little earlier, cruise to a lunch point and back home again.
Give me a few of days to come up with a plan and I will let you know.
Might have to do a few circles around east malvern to satisfy stewies bladder..

Thanks guys but there is still alot of photos to come. I've just been busy with work. I am still shocked that some of the photos worked out so well as I wasn't even looking when I was shooting. Bit hard to drive and take photos at the same time. But glad that they worked out. Theres still another 160ish shots to come.

Blkr8.... try this. Open your image hosting site, Photbucket? Right click on the picture you want to show us. Select copy image location.
Go back to this forum, I usually have both this and the image hosting site open in 2 windows. Click on the quick reply button. Click on the "InsertImage" yellow icon. and paste the image location. Before you submit this check the image location address..http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x45/HSVLS1/HSV%20Only%20Cruise/IMGP7265.jpg..sometimes you wil see http:// twice....if so delete one of them. This is one I just did from a pic submitted from the cruise. Hope that helps.

Wicked snaps Karstomz. Someone grab him and dip him in wax and preserve him. We should all consider chipping in for his wages if he has to work on a cruise day. Anyone else that sees these shots would be well impressed with the cruises you guys organise. Fabulous job boys and girls.

No worries Snakey Stewie, the best part of organising it is that it will suit me. Not that Im selfish of corse.
Those shots of yours look pretty cool, they look as though they were taken 30 years ago. You couldnt get a shot like that on purpose.

I reckon you're right about chipping in. What if we all put in $20-30 bucks and Karstomz can make some CDs??

I have a couple of blokes at work that belong to various car clubs and do cruises often. I will speak with them on Monday to get some ideas of good cruises. Cant wait.

Well guys, the route will be up around where the fires were back in Feb (hope nobody has an issue with this). I reckon meet in Mooroolbark somewhere. Either a round trip through marysville, or up to alexandra, accoss to Yea and back home.

I prefer the longer run but I will await feedback before finalizing.

I will organise somewhere to have lunch that has plenty of parking.

Timing will depend on the route as we would want to have lunch around midday.

Fingers crossed for the weather.

It's both Missy. Our rides are pretty wild and getting together constitutes having a life...hence wild life. The rest is just a distraction for us bored forum watchers. Take all the non HSV stuff out and it would be very unfunny....but still very informative as an HSV forum should be. It all relates to the cruise and shows others what they missed out on, even those that were on the cruise but dilly dallying around:lol:
As to the sombrero, well that was the the Dazzle's idea and I just agreed with him so you should see at least two rather large hats on the next cruise (don't let me down here Daz and remember to wear your pink tee shirt.....ooooh....that could start a new line of frivolous banter amongst some:p:lol:)

Your pics are well worth the wait Karstomz so don't stress it. The longer it takes the more time me and the Z man (and co) have to fill the thread will "wilderness" nonsense.
Having said that, I'm probably the one responsible for cranking the 'funny' stuff up the most and I would like to appologise to all those who have taken it the wrong way. If you didn't "get" me on the last cruise, come and 'get' me on the next one. If you've had your nose put out of joint by me and weren't on the last cruise then I'd be happy to put it back into place on the next cruise:lol::lol:
See? There's the humor, there is the :lol: smiley that says it's just a joke. I wouldn't say I'm a clown, check the other posts I've put up...might not be too technical but I think that at least the contributions are helpful towards other HSV owners resolving their problems or at least knowing that someone else respects their ride. This is just a bit of fun that, in my opinion, reflects the fun that I had on the last cruise. It was exactly what I had hoped it would be, a bunch of fun loving people that had two things in common...HSVs and an appreciation for the lighter side of life. I'm only sorry I didn't get a shot of the Dazzle in his (or her????:lol:) party shirt. That would have taken this in a completely different direction.
Having said THAT...I eagerly await the posting of the Dazzle's shirt and subsequent comments.:D:D:D:D:lol::lol:

Nah, it's just what the big fella does when I'm at work. Keeps him fit and out of trouble. Use to fight for the YMCA but the bloody animal liberation softies took a stance so now he can only train with the big fight contenders when he gets a chance. I was thinking either a pub or cafe. Dont get me wrong I loooove a bbq but I cant stand Australian flies.
I will get in contact with someone in either Alex or Yea to organise seating and parking.
I dont know the area at all but I'm sure even the worst will be ok for us lot.

I will keep you posted, nobody objected to the cruise being that long so the up to Alex and accross to Yea is the ticket.

Awesome job with the fotos 'Karstomz'. All the rides look sh@t hot. And by the sound of a couple threads the Vic crusie was a huge success and a lot of fun. Hopefully i'll be in on the December one!
Depends on work thou....Bloody xmas = the silly season, makes everyone go crazy and everything has to be done yesterday.

Yeah I know what you mean about everyone wants things yesterday. I get a massive line up of cars to do at Mercedes and they need to be done quick as. Sometimes there will be 6 cars all due at the same time. But I love the job :) and getting to jump in cars like the V12 twin turbo SLK AMG's are awesome. Shit loads of power for such a small car.

Nah, I'm gunna be in Adelaide watching Green Day with the family...young ones are big fans. Not to worry though, at least that will be fun.:D

Well Noel, I had thought about going to JB Hifi today to get a new keyboard to enable me to do what you have done above.
Although I reckon it would be looked upon in an imature way from other people that attend the forum.
In December, on the 13th we are now going on a road trip through Alexandra and having lunch at Yea. And I cant wait for that day to come. Although I do need to clarify the exact route and lunch point with everyone. I hope to carry out the above clarification on the weekend coming.

Roger that Z old man. Excellent comments and all have been taken on board with earnest gusto. The jaunt out to Yea and back sounds like a capital ideal my good chum and I look forward to the day with relish.
As for the rendezvous that occurred the other evening after sherry o'clock, well that was spiffing to say the least. All had a raucous time of it and a fine young chap by the name of Richard Kelly was there to speak to us all. Did a bang up job of it although he did appear to be a little rough around the edges and I fear he may be related to that dreaded Kelly Gang.
Anyhoo, must toddle along old chum, work to do, servants to reprimand, days' work is never done as you would know. Meeting up with Earnest tomorrow for a spot of tiger hunting should you wish to join us.

Keep me informed of events to come like a good chap.
