Hi all

Sorry to possibly rehash old ground here but some advice would be appreciated ....

I'm chasing a HSV. I really love the clubbly VT kits/looks.

They have depreciated so much and are a real good buy.

I can't help but be drawn to the VT 220i stroker. Last of the Holden V8s.

I have a WL Stato so I'm (or my wife) is driving a chevy already.

Not into big horse power etc just reliability/daily driver and fun.

Any thoughts??

Cheers

Darren

This will open a can of worms, so I'll simply say that you ought to buy whatever your heart is set on.

Don't choose the engine, choose the car.

With the stroker Holden engine, you are limited to Senator/GTS. With the LS1, you have the entire model range to choose from.

For mod-ability, the LS1 wins hands down. For old school (well sort of - it is injected and not a carby) the stroker is good.

Your cash, your choice.

cheers,

Macca

Yeah cheers for that Macca ..... I think your right the choices are many with the LS1.

But I remember wanting the GTS 220i when it came out and I guess thats whats driving my decision to more than likely get one .....
