hey guys i just picked up a 97 vs clubsport auto in like perfect stock condition with 100,000km on clock for 14grand

im in WA...

do u think this was a decent price? or did i get ripped? :cool:

Maybe a little high, but if it's immaculate and just what you were looking for then you should be happy with the purchase.
SenatorVIII, we generally pay a fair bit more for used cars here. Even dealers buy them from over east and sell them here.

With the cost of domestic flights and logisitics costs these days, i know which way i would be buying a car.

Fly to the East coast for a week/s holiday/car viewing, buy a car for half the price, slap on a blower with the left over change, and either drive it home via the Nullabor, or get it delivered to keep the kms down.

ripped? hmm what would u have expected to see one/payed for? im in wa the interior/exterior is like.. unreal!

its like a new car aye, ta mate got one when they were new and he had a look at it and reckons its exactly like his was when it was new... drives smooth,doesnt make any noise (gota love the stock exhausts).. keeping in mind its the stock exhaust (11-12yrs old).. its probly time for a newer one.. so i was thinking extractors/exhaust system.. would be bad idea/take away hsv standard value? any recommendations? i wana unleash the 5ltr sound!

14K isn't too bad. Especially in WA. Cars seem to keep their value a bit better over here. I personally would have gone for a 215 GTS or Senator with a 6 speed.

Put an exhaust on it, nothing wrong with that in my view. Get a decent stainless single 3" or twin 2.5" system.
