The rear rotors are $450 each and these are the factory style
Front pads are $214 for street
Front pads are $260 for street/track
Rear pads $175 street
Rear pads $264 street/track

I am just about to get my 2008 HSV 6.2 L R8 Maloo with the 20" wheels and was just wondering what sort of Km's I could expect from the front and rear pads. The car will be used mostly for long haul drives and will most probably be driven within the bounds of the law on most occasions? Will your pads last about the same as factory ones?

Also do you recommend any special method for breaking in new pads? The car I am getting has got 24Km on the clock so I guess it would be all sorted but for future exercises with new pads...any special technique required?

Sorry mate just got back from holidays.The aftermarket pads are ferodo and to be honest i can't say how long they or any pad will last you but they are a similar compound to the factory pad and we sell many of them.The new prices are
Front 6 pot pad $231
Rear 4 pot pad $187

Hi mate is that HSV VE pads sorry ? We can supply these forom $230 to $290 for street use and $90 fitting thanks.Sorry we do not machine rotors but can supply new ones if needed.

This model should have the AP Racing set up with either 350mm 4 piston front and 332mm rear or 362mm 6 piston front and 343mm 4 piston rear.Can you confirm either thanks?

What brake set up do you have on that one? we should be able to help you if i can find out the brakes you have or if you do not know just measure the rotor size and i will then know.

pretty sure they are the Premium Braking System:

350x 32 mm slotted front discs, 332 x 24mm slotted rear discs, Four piston HSV embossed front and rear callipers in HRT red, Silver finish front and rear hubs

We use the Project Mu pad on the VE HSV cars with no problems and for your car we have these in stock for $290 a set.
Generally when squeaking brakes are noticable it is only under light braking when slowing down and is a harmonic problem which is generally between the back of the pad and piston or the pad face and rotor .

If it is a VE we have options from $880 for pads and 1 piece slotted discs to $1600 for 2 piece discs and high end pads. If it is a VZ and it has the AP Racing HSV calipers then the prices start from $1190 thanks.
