I'm selling my 1996 Series 1 HSV VS Clubsport.
This is an urgent & yet regretful sale as I have just bought a house & have no need for 2 cars.
I bought the clubbie in August 2007 & I am the 2nd owner. It had 109,058 k's on the clock when I took ownership of it. I've done only 5,947 k's in 4 months.
I've since had a minor service done on it. Fitted a new regulator & battery.
Everything on this car is original & untouched from the day it left the factory in September 96.
Standard features are: power steering, air con, electric antenna, leather gear shift grip, leather steering wheel, drivers airbag, faux 'carbon fibre' centre console shifter surround with 'ClubSport' graphic, HSV ignition immobiliser. (2 sets of keys with 3 immobiliser keys come with it).
Extra features are: HSV floor mats (front & rear), HSV dash protector, HSV bonnet protector, HSV headlight protectors, adjustable clip down luggage cargo straps, boot mounted fire extinguisher, hands free mobile phone car kit, electronic rust protection.
Standard 17" ClubSport tri-spoke alloys.
Standard disc brakes with ABS.
Standard suspension (IRS).
Standard bodykit & decals.
Standard HSV headers/extractors + exhaust system.
5.0L fuel injected 304ci V8.
4-speed 4L60e automatic transmission.
3.46:1 high performance LSD.
It comes with the HSV Owners Compendium (grey suede folder).
Has all the original paperwork on the car from the factory stating power & torque (185 kW's & 400 Nm's).
Has all the information on the entire range of VS HSV's.
Has the original Owners letter + the sheet Stating 'ClubSport' & the car build #.
Everything on this car can be traced back to the day it rolled off the showroom floor with the Owners checklist sheet also.
Only non-standard feature is the Kenwood CD player & the aftermarket speakers.
Rego runs out on the 30th of January, 2008.
This is a great car to drive & is quick & responsive still, due to the good life it has had.
Average yearly k's travelled are just 10,450 k's per year.
Is always garaged & I detail it every weekend.
Will sell registered or unregistered. Whichever suits.
