The championship deciding round is THIS WEEKEND at Phillip Island!! Up for grabs is:

Manufactures Championship (Holden or Ford)
Teams Championship (HSV Dealer Team or Team Vodafone)
Drivers Championship (Garth Tander, Rick Kelly, Craig Lowndes, Jamie Whincup)

We hope to see Holden, HSV DT and either RK or GT win these trophies. Its going to be an interesting round! Go Holden!

So at the end of it:

Holden won the manufactures championship
Toll HSV DT won the teams c'ship
Garth Tander won the drivers c'ship

Thoroughly deserved and a champion bloke.
Lowndes always comes across like hes just a goody two shoes all the time, but he would have to be the biggest whinger in the paddock.
That was a great move he put on Tander, nascar style.
HSV spent some money on advertising that i could see as well.
Holden/HSV POWER !!!

A stab in the back awarding whincup the fair/courteous award... what are they implying that HOLDEN (the best) didn't play fair either... Ford go bite me!!!!!!

Ford has won the Barry Sheene award for many years now (the fair/curteous award clubby 285 was talking about), with Lowndesy being awarded it. This year it is his team mate Whincup got it, but to be honest, I think he deserved it. He has been a clean racer all year, has a good personality and races hard (finished 2nd in c'ship), plus he is an ex-Holden driver so he must have learnt well! : ) But I would have liked Jason Richards or Mark Winterbottom to get the award, both are top notch drivers.

Drove from Adelaide to phillip island on the Fri then drove back on the Monday... but worth every moment of it.

We were surrounded by ford supporters that thought they had it in the bag when lowndes passed tander which made victory even more sweeter at the end!
we took over 100 photos of the weekend... ill try to post a couple of pic of tander up. (first try so it probably wont work)

Im stoked Todd is driving for perkins next year... its been quite a dry year for results.
