Hi,I've presently got a VS executive this has given me 8 years of great service, but I'm moving up and I'm trying to decide between a VS Clubsport,a VS Senator or a VT Clubsport, what I'd like to know is what problems should I be looking for or do these have any issues, oil burning, poor handling?,etc, and what long term reliability should I expect, also as this car will not be just used on sunny Sundays what sort of fuel consumption could I expect.

If I was you I'd go for the VT series 2. At least you'll get the LS1 which craps on the holden engine for power.
You shouldn't have any problems with oil consumption or piston slap as they should all have been rectified by now. Make sure you hear it start up from cold.
I get 16-17l/100 in mine doing short trips(5km to work) but improves ALOT if do a few longer trips. It sits under 10l/100 on the freeway.

Buy the shape that you like most. I've had a Cherry Black 185i VS Senator and now have a VR GTS and love both of them. Mates have had VT's thru VZ's and they are all just as good and all are fun to drive.

The 5litre Holdens are more economical than the 5.7 stroker engines around town and very similar on the highway. Usual story, the older the car, the more K's on the clock, look for good service history.
