Haha, just a few spelling errors there...but anyway, it depends on your budget, Go with a VY if you want something a bit more modern but the VX is still awesome. Take a look at the HSV site for info.

great reight

Have a look at the HSV website it goes through all the specs.

Also check out Redbook.com for market prices.

VXI SS and VXII SS get 225kw HSV Clubsport gets 255Kw
VYI SS gets 235kw. HSV Y Series I Clubsport gets 260Kw
VYII SS gets 245kw HSV Y series II Clubsport gets 285Kw and 510nm of torque

From the VXII onwards they get the extra control link which drastically limits rear tyre wear.

The VY gets the newer dash and interior which is ageing well compared to the ancient VT-VX dash set up.

R8 Features get you -big Harrop brakes and leather interior 6 stacker sub woofer sound system bla bla bla and cost about 3 grand + above the normal clubsport

VYII get a strut brace....

Good luck with dual fuel.....HSV don't reccommend it. Haven't heard of anyone doing it either....which there must be a reason for that.

As you have not mentiond what you are willing to spend and what funds $$$$$$ are available to you... I like the look of the VX Clubsport R8 as I have one.

GTS's/Senator's/Grange's from the VX range(2001) are starting from +$35K until $60 for a VZ(2006)

Personally I would stick with the R8 or GTS package as it was a little better than the standard Clubsport(Better brakes, Leather, Sunroof & Climate Control).

You can pick up a VX Clubsport from between $22K & $32K. The newer you go and different models within each series the more they cost...

Dual Fuel is a No No!!! So, If cost is not a problem then buy a new HSV GST in any colour/options you like.

Dont duel fuel a HSV!!!!
Blasfamy!!!!
You would kill the resale value and people that want a hsv wont want one with gas.
The other thing is that with all the mods HSV does, you might harm the heart of the car putting it on gas.
If you want a duel fuel go an SS or SV8 where the engines dont have to run on 98RON and haven't had the performance treatment.
Dont put a HSV on gas its like putting a lambo on gas.....who would want to do it and who would want to buy it.
You might be able to get a nice VX calais on gas.....mmmmm dont know.
Have a look on carpoint or drive.com.
Good luck mate
