Hello all,
I am a member of the holden sporting car club of victoria.
This year we are running a series of club events against the ford four car club of victoria, which consisted of 5 circuit sprints and a hillclimb.
Our club will be doing the same thing again next year and by all accounts it will be bigger and better again.
The average cost of entering an event was $140.00 after joining the club and obtaining a cams licence.
We are also involved in attending car shows like Brocky's big day out for charity as well as great social events.
Anyone interested in joining a car club and getting involved in grass roots motorsport, please visit HOLDENCLUB.COM for all club details, contact info, car pics, guides or alternately pm me for any info you might require.
We can also give you advice on the minimum requirements for setting up the car for circuit/dirt duties as per the cams handbook.
It's cheap fun and you don't even have to own a holden to join our club.
So if you are aged 14 to 80, male or female, get in there and have a go, it's easier than you think and you don't have to own the quickest car to have a great time doing it.
it's also a crapload safer than racing on the street.
Thanks
