Hi all and i must say what a great forum this is

My question is what type of investment would a 2006 gto l.e be as im thinking of buying one, also are the any reported probs with them?

If you plan on keepng it for the next 20-30 years it would make a good investment. If you plan on keeping it short term its just like tearing up money. As a long term investment it would have to have minimal k's on it and be in stock standard (concourse) condition. By minimal k's i mean less than 20000 when its 20 years old. Just look at all the old muscle cars that are selling atm and you'll see the ones getting the big bucks are the low kilometer ones in perfect unmolested condition.

Many thanks ERASER ....well ill enjoy it while im alive cos 20-30 years is a long way away...but the last question is are there any reported problems with this model and the LS2 engin? as i had a early gen111 with with 2 engine rebuils and 1 trans?

No problems that ive heard of with these models. Mines an ls2 and ive had no problems at all. I few friends have ls2's also and they havent had any trouble either. Since its at the end of a model run all the teething problems are long gone.
