Speakers in VY Clubsport

I have recently brought a Y series Clubbie and I am looking at upgrading the sound. My budget is $1000.

I have been told that the pre-existing factory speakers in the clubbie are good enough, all i have to do is put in an Amp and some 6 x 9's in the rear parcel trays.

I do not want to change the head unit i want the car looking standard.

Does any one know what my best options would be to fit into my budget. I live in Brisbane. Cheers

i would suggest staying away from the sony side of things the last set of amps i had where shocking! maybe try JB HIFI and beat the price down with cash. i have recently bought a new Audiobarn amp 6002 i think and it goes hard for a decentish price of 580.
