Why don't you just get finance somewhere else?

Lol i love the quotes people have for 4 cylinders and v8's. The milk and juices one and the cheap wine comes in 5 litres.
Has anyone come up with one for the 6 litre's yet?

I don't know. I think we would have to consider cooking utensils?

Isn't this like how long is a piece of string?

I am sure there are heaps of reasons that they will or won't give out finance. Probably not the dealer's fault as they will want nothing more than to get you into that car and get the sale for their comissions.

The solution may be for you to shop around for the finance first. Every dealer may have different options on who they apply through for you to get the finance and they make a comission off getting you that finance.

Some other alterntives which have worked in the past are going to your credit union. (If you or a relative are in one they are often far more helpful. Or just ring them and if they help, join then.)

Then perhaps after a discussion with them they could give you advise on what amount of money they will loan you.

Hope it helps.

So was it only 1000 you had to put down for the new Maloo??
I remember when I bought my CV8 it was way more then that!!! It could be that you will need more of a deposit.
The lender may see this as a plus that your able to save a sizable amount of money.
When the lender sees that you have saved some money a few good thousand then if you dont have a credit rating then it could act as a show of good money management from your side..
Just a thought..

It sucks getting knocked back for a loan. Sometimes its a good thing cause maybe in the long run you really cant afford it. Not having any previous credit rating by not having any previous credit will get you a knock back. If you have no previous credit everyone will knock you back for a sizable loan unfortunatley. You need to build your rating up. getting a credit card and staying onto of it shows them you can handle money. If you have been knocked back twice dont keep reapplying. You are actually creating a credit rating with every loan application. Knock backs dont look good on your credit rating. It sucks i know but you may have your rating up in time for the ve maloo.
