I should introduce myself. I have been a member now for some time.
Hope you all had a great Xmas and a happy new year. and may the new year be good to you all.
I live in the place of great white beaches ( Perth)
I have a 2004 HSV GTO Coupe , It's my first veture into HSV Land and I am most impressed. There is no looking back now.
I have have owned mainly Holden utes during my life and I will admit I have owned a couple of fords in my life. ( you can slap me if you want).
I spent many months looking at Monaro's and decided bugger it I will get a HSV GTO.
It was very hard to find a Manual GTO in perth. So after giving my name to all the dealers here and waiting and waiting,
I decided to scour the net for a GTO and found a couple in Queensland.
I flew to Brisbane and purchased a 2004 HSV GTO, I had it put in a sea container and sent back to Perth
What a long wait for the car to arrive, I was like a young kid again waiting for Xmas to come.
Now that the GTO is here in Perth I can't stop Driving it and admiring it.
I am sure I have caught this HSV Disease. And I like this new HSV Disease:)
I just love my GTO, I have revisited my young years again, and the grey hairs a vanishing too:)
So if you see a RED HSV GTO in Perth with QLD plates( Soon to be Perth plates) It's probably me. I have only seen 1 othere RED GTO in Perth.
So give us a wave
Sorry to ramble on for so long.
It's great to be a member of the HSV Forum.
I hope one day to catch up with you guy's and girls
Regards Simon
