Hey all,
Im in the process of buying a new car and was hoping you could help me make sure Im getting a good deal.
The car in question is a 96 vs clubbie 5 speed.
Just wondering what can be done to make sure its a real clubsport and if there is anything I should look/listen/watch out for when I test drive it.

Also, what basic mods would give me the best bang for my buck, I was thinking cai+air filter and cat back system to start off with, I heard there wasnt much room for improvement with the factory hsv extractors?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks and have a nice day

hey mate ive got one of these (actually mines for sale on this forum ) mods that can be done...... dont bother with another exhast unless your gonna go twin cats as the twin system on these puppies are good enough for a standard engine. If you want a better sounds just remove the rear resonator then she will sound sex. The car will always benifit from some better extractors and these cars come with a pretty good CAI standard so just get a k&n panal filter and put it in the standard box.

No ive had nothing major go wrong. My alternator did become sick and so i replaced that, i also replaced my starter motor cause i wasnt happy with it but im pretty picky. Just take it for as long as a test drive as you can. Make sure you turn of the radio so you can listen to it and drive it how you would normaly.
