I picked it up from a car yard on the coast, Fell in love with it striaght away and got RACQ out, They were surprised being a coast car that its imaculate in every way and that it was purely un-modified (even OEM spark leads). Even the foam under the rear seats is still like new (no discoloring) Only wear is on the leather on the steering wheel. only 170'000kays and got the oringinal hsv certificate with it, Also have the original VS HSV Broucher that the owner kept, I have scanned it, will probably upload it one day :-P

Very happy with it, Was looking for a V8 for awhile. This poped up and i just had to have it :-p

Only had one problem with it so far, The aircon idler pulley bearings shat after i drove thru heavy rain. But i put that down as wear and tear.

Got the resonater removed friday. Now the sterio stays off.. lovin the noise

Thanks :)

Havn't had the chance to think of any plans yet, I actually like the standed rims so they will probably stay for a while. The ride hieght looks alright in person, It only looks like a 4wd in pics lol. Might drop it 1.5 / 2 inches. Nothing over the top,

Going to do the full tune up (leads, plugs, rotor button, diff oil etc) when i have some more time off. I did the gearbox oil, motor oil, filters etc when i brought it.

I'm not normally a fan a 3 spokers, but I've always liked those ones on the clubbys. wouldn't put 'em on anything else though, but you're right, they look great. as for ride height, i'd definitely lower 2". you'll be amazed in the difference in it's stance. a lot tougher. but when you do, do it properly. especially to do with the rear. get the camber fixed when lowered. it looks cheap when done cheap!

well done and enjoy your new toy!

Thanks Guys :)

Yep vypower, I wouldn't attempt doing it myself. Anything that changes the way a car operates should be left to pro's :) I wouldn't want to take that chance with my life or anyone elses.

I can swap engines, boxes, diffs in a day but lowering is something i aint game enough to do.

Within the distributer (spelling?) Cap

Its at the back of the manifold, Best bet is to use a pillow and lay on the motor to do it, I heard if it hasn't been done in awhile its wise to replace it, Supossed to increase throotle response etc. Just unclip the dizzy cap lift it up and swap them over.

For a $2 part you might as well :)

Yeah its a holden steering wheel, Except they covered the actual handle part (outside) in leather. As you can see theres abit of wear on it :p.. i plan to get it redone
