Hi my name is Kellie
I have recently bought my first HSV it is a 95 VS MANTA 5 speed.
I call her my mid life crisis. She is red and I think she is perfect.
one thing I would like to know is how many of the 95 models were there made
I have contacted holden but i am still waiting to here from them.

The Manta's in their day were pretty cool. They should bring it back when the VE wagon is released.

Not sure how many were built, but certainly less than Clubsports.

Hi Mantagirl,

There were 201 manual VS Manta's and 28 autos built between April 1995 and June 1996. There were released both as a sedan and as a wagon. They were meant to be a entry level HSV. The VSII Manta was released in June 1996 and saw 75 sedans and 20 wagons being built by Septmber 1997. Hope this is what you were looking for.

Hi All,
I have a Vt Manta. 180 Built and I have 080. Mine is original White, 5 speed and chipped to 220i.

I'm desperately looking for an orrigianl shift knob and boot. The leather on mine has perished and Holden don't supply them anymore. :(
