Thermo fan into VS

Hi there.
I have just recently bought a VS V8. I want to remove the clutched engine fan and replace it with thermo fans.
I am told there are 2 holden options :
1. 16" fan (like VN Commodore)
2. 2x fan (off VT Commodore)
I am also open to other suggestions.

Would both of these options be successful? Is there part of the existing VS wiring that I can get an engine temperature reading from (to switch electric fan(s) on)?

get the vt setup 2x12" fans it has better cooling ability as for wireing that i am not sure but you can buy a davis craig swithch that will turn the fans on at whatever temp you want to set it too
